just like the title says, the show really did shock me 😭 i started it and initially found it hella funny so i decided to js look it up on reddit and found that some people were trashing it. that genuinely made me think that the show was gonna be hella mid BUT it wasn’t?? the ML’s acting was unreal (IMO) and most of his scenes in the last 3-4 episodes made me SOB so much. from the birthday scene to him writing the final lines on Mangunrok, Im songs death, FL time travelling scene etc etc. those were actually so gut wrenching?? i’ve been watching kdramas for years now (w a lil break in between), no show has made me cry EVER. this was the first one. my eyes r so swollen now lmao.
anyways, glad they ended up together even tho i have some questions about the ending. wish there were 16 eps instead of 12. or if they wanted to maintain 12, then they should’ve reduced the contest scenes a lil.
but, if anyone here has been contemplating watching this show - pls start watching it!!!
