I’m a WA CC transfer student receiving WASFA, and my UW portal currently shows non-resident status. I understand this can sometimes just be how the system initially classifies students, but I wanted to ask how other CC transfers got their residency updated for in-state tuition purposes and what documents UW asked for.

The email I got when I applied says decisions should be out by May 1, but the website says it actually come out on May 4 .
Has anyone tried the unofficial transcript trick yet to see if it’s still working?

Mine isn’t showing anything yet and I still haven’t gotten my CSE transfer decision, so I’m wondering if it still works or if UW patched it.
