This is the follow-up to my previous query and solution:
The welder installed a 2” hitch receiver (very solid). I wired some LED side lights through the centre tube. (I had to come up with a simple solution to test the lights, instead of hooking it up to the car each time.) Now to ensure the tongue weight stays in the 10-15% standard.
Has anyone here driven from Baie Comeau, QC to L’Anse aux Loup N.L. and then Blanc Sablon, QC for the ferry to the island, AKA #Expedition51°. And how was the QC389 and TLH? Working out the last few kinks (anxieties) before heading out in about 1-½ months. We have all the stops/sights/fill-ups planned out, just looking to learn from other travellers. TY.
I’ve been thinking of installing a hitch to the back of my tear for a small cargo rack (48” wide), or a bike rack. Has anyone done this before and what have you learned?
