So this is the little one I found yesterday after work. Initially I thought it potentially had a broken wing. Under inspection it has talon marks and wounds from a bird of prey, this one luckily got away!
I would love to keep and rehab them as they just need a few weeks rest but my situation doesn't alow, tomorrow they will hopefully be off to rest with someone else and be re-released soon!

Hello! Some of you may remember my posts of lil' Checkers who flew into a window outside my shop who is now with my rehabber friend...it's me again!
Today after work I picked this one up to destring it and noticed it has a damaged wing(s?) I've brought her home to boogie like Checkers, letting her rest for tonight and reassess things in the morning. She seems relaxed and comfortable for now.
Luckily the taxi driver I used keeps birds too and was really nice about the situation! Carrying two heavy bags and a bird in a basket 😅

This is just a small example of the life my friend gives to injured birds if they can't be released...

My friend Neil who helps our amazing feathered friends needs some help, 12 years of rehabbing us and the best in the county and much further. He has advised pigeon owners from all over the world...even a friend of the royal family despite no payment. Just because he cared about the pigeons welfare!
