Week 6 day 3! Bloody smashed that!
So happy with that, 25 minutes non stop and at a pretty good pace. It was on a treadmill so taking it with pinch of salt haha

Hey! So I've been doing c25k whilst also being on a weightloss journey and going to the gym. Down 20lbs today 🤩
I personally have been loving gamerfying exercise. Looking at going up in weights and getting fast as a level up to push me forward
I've also been looking at my calories as more of currency which has helped me make smarter decisions when it comes to food.
Has anyone else been doing this? Have you got any other ways you've been gamifying your journey?

I did my fastest mile and my 2nd fastest 2 miles! As a gamer these level ups push me forward!
Anyone else treat excersise and health like a game to push them forward?
I completed w5 d3 on monday and felt really good about it but today's run was weirdly hard. I think because I was doing intervals again rather than a full length run, I found it more difficult to get into a rythem and ended up running faster to make up for the walking.
I also decided to run up and down a pretty steep hill which did not help 😅
Did anyone else find this?
This was my first outdoor run since the heat wave and it was the big step up to 20 minutes non-stop. I am so proud of myself, I felt like I slowed my overall pace down a bit too much but my time wasn't that much worse than my previous runs!
When I started doing this I couldn't run for more than a minute without feeling winded and I just ran for 20 minutes feeling pretty good!
Just did w5 day 1 and it was okay, tiring but okay. I took a peek and the next few days and the 20 minute run on day 3 made my eyes pop out of my head. Like a looney toon.
How did you mentally prepare yourself for that jump?
So I did on outdoor run on my lunch today and I was really not happy with it (it was so hot!), so did another one in the gym 🫢 who even am I haha
Week 4 day 1 kicked my ass. I am sweating so freaking much and I thought I was going to die on the 5 minutes stints. I did not choose the right route at all, very hilly! But I persevered and I think I smashed it!

So... to anyone just starting out, just remeber you got this!!

I stop recording the run during the 5min warm up walks and 5 min warm downs. My pace is much slower this week compared to last week is this normal?

Also running outside is so much harder, did anyone else split their runs between treadmill and outdoors?
