Pretty yet comfortable sandals for swollen feet?
My feet are balloons this week with the heat.
My baby shower is in a week and the only shoes that currently fit me at all comfortably are my ride-or-die pair of chunky New Balances (and a pair of my husband’s socks). I’d prefer to not wear these to my baby shower though if possible!
Does anyone have any recommendations for comfy and hopefully not hideous sandals (maybe white?) that I could wear with a nice-ish dress, and will fit? Flats or maybe a chunky low heel?
I am a size 8-9 normally anyway, but usually not wide footed. Would a wide or extra wide foot sandal allow more strap room at the top?

Just to head it off: I’m not looking for suggestions about seeking medical advice and ‘could be preeclampsia’ right now, please. I’ve spoken to my midwife about it etc etc. - I’m just hot, 35 weeks pregnant, swollen, and getting grumpy when people say this every time (when I am just trying to complain a little!)
