I maxed my Hardcore Ironman
I’ve been playing RuneScape since 2001, and this game has truly been a journey. I kid you not, my friends and I used to go to the post office to mail our subscription money to Jagex. (Yes, that was actually an option back then 😂)
We used to pay 25 cents every half hour at the library just to play, and there was only ONE computer we had to share with other people. 😂🤣🤣🤣
There's so many amazing memories from this childhood game of ours, but the best part of all has been the incredible people I met along the way. (Except the guy who pretended to be my girlfriend… or the guy who scammed my rune scimitar. Just kidding, that was me 💀 Please forgive me, I’m a better person now hahaha)
I got to max alongside my beautiful wife, 4 kiddos, and gaming friends I met over 10 years ago. (They even stood in my wedding!!) I also believe I now hold the most random achievement ever: being the first HCIM to max at this massive baseball stadium in Toronto. 😂
It's hard to put into words how cool 8-year-old me would think this is right now… being maxed like Zezima 🤣🤣🙌🏆
Guess I’ll end this rant with:
We never really quit.
We only take breaks.
Pursue that goal no matter what it is. 💪❤️
