Make town fountains refill up to 30% of energy. That alone will fix a lot of the energy issues. Noobs unanymously limp their way into a town with 0 energy, so it'll be a guaranteed utilization.

Every town in the game presents itself as a haven. They have guards, buildings, shops, no hostile monsters, plenty of roads and decor... towns need to give a minimum energy boosts, and their fountains are a perfect way to do it.

It presents a perfect opportunity to replace the ebb in gameplay with a flow. An immediate boost to 30% energy means they can launch to the destination in town, whatever it was. A bank, a quest destination, a furnace... anything.

Making fountains an extremely watered down (lel) version of a house pool is pretty solid design in my opinion because it also familiarizes them with the concept of this future content.

It also incentivizes them to save their energy potions until after they give the fountain that much anticipated succ, which teaches resource allocation that remains useful all the way until endgame. GWD altars are a good example: players learn not to drink their prayer potion when the altar is primed for use and they have a single minion left because it's about to be refilled anyway.

Additional random complementary ideas:

  1. Give a bit of Agility XP when it happens. Chatbox can say something like "You relax and realize you've learned a bit about Agility..."
  2. This cap can scale with Agility level. Perhaps level 1 is just ~30%, but maybe it can approach or even reach 100% by level 99?
  3. This could work WITH pubs/fires rather than against them. Another x% could come from pubs and campfires.
  4. Road tiles could have an added perk of allowing regeneration WHILE running. Subtle but nice.

(I'm not criticizing energy potions on drop tables. They're good. But the issue needs to be attacked from all possible sides!)

They perhaps went a bit too far with the energy potions

I’m doing Turael tasks and I feel like half of the drops I am getting are energy potions. Goblins, banshees, and cave crawlers have all just been drowning me in energy potions lol, every single Turael task yet has given me bucketloads.

Revert the Stamina Potion Changes

Me and my clan have funded all our activities by selling stam pots at stam pot bridge at a massive markup. You're telling me that we can only, at best, sell half as many now! This may as well be EoC all over again!

Goblins dropping energy potions is unimmersive. What if drinks helped solve energy early game instead?

Revisiting an old idea when it comes to helping early game. Watched some friends starting runescape get a full inventory of energy potions after 30 minutes of killing goblins.

It feels too heavy handed and immersion breaking.

What if drinking any beverage gave some run energy, and made food give run energy on top of it? Walking around the overworld with a beer and some bread to refill energy is way closer to the fantasy of refreshing your energy. Maybe even having it boosted when you're nearby a fire.

We could teach it on tutorial island as well, or give hints in the chatbox. Maybe have something in chat say "A drink would help get my energy back right about now" when you hit 0. (10 minute cooldown so it doesn't spam chat)

If "NPC Contact" can be renamed "Astral Contact" as a Tegridy™ change, can we also get an update so that Graardor drops Ourg bones instead of Big bones to be thematically consistent?

How is my 15 year old account name offensive? What is happening? I just wanted to report a bug.

I've been trying to get my account back for 5 years and it was denied continuously. I tried a new system that Jagex has available and it was a little to easy and gave me back my account without any information needed at all, so I decided to report it. The Mod just doesn't even acknowledge it, tries to Jedi mind trick me, and without even telling me or making me aware kicks me out of my account and deletes my username. I had to pry and ask only for them to tell me that my name is a play on R Kelly?

I see all of the comments about Jagex staff not being helpful, and perhaps I'm way off here, but am I wrong for being annoyed that when I report a security issue just to be safe I'm told my name reminds them of a rapper who pisses on people, you don't acknowledge the issue, and you don't even make me aware it was a problem and locking my account?

I blocked out the Mods name to be respectful on their privacy, but I just want to be sure I'm not in the wrong here after losing my Username of well over a decade in this bizarre situation....

I am considerably more confused now than had my request to get my account back just been denied. If I lose my account again because it was an error, so be it; but I'd rather others not lose their far more invested accounts over this.
And possibly their usernames????
