AITA for not correcting my sister for saying my shirt is tacky?

My mother in law got me a shirt that happens to match a tattoo I have. She got it specifically because of that, and I think it’s awesome. Last Saturday I wore it during a family bbq, and my sister got a little sloppy drunk and made fun of my arm matching my shirt, and I just laughed it off. My sister in law then told me my mother in law (sorry it’s confusing) overheard the conversation and was very hurt by it. My sister in law took offense to me saying I didn’t think it was a big deal and went to my husband to complain about me not correcting my sister. That’s the whole issue, AITA?
