As a small artisan business owner, I got into the microbrand game thinking it was a place of honor, quality, and value. The more I get into it, the more I see that the owners are unprofessional, the pieces are just assembled from catalogs, and in all probability, they never even see them; it's just rebranding... they might as well be doing toasters. All websites are the same; they don't publish bad reviews and live off shallow influencers...they are not watchmakers; they are product assemblers. Who can help me and share with me brands that they "know" are run by watchmakers and whose QC is made by watchmakers? Thank you.
