My niche is sports content (basketball, soccer, football).

Currently I’m only monetizing thru creator rewards program but feel as if I’m leaving out gains on the table especially with my engagement. What more can I be doing to capitalize? I’ve started to accept sound promos, but there needs to be something more.

Bro I walked in on my parents oh nah

We have 2 bathrooms upstairs, it was 7:00am, I drink a lot of water in my sleep, so I have to pee often.

The bathroom closest to me was occupied so I had to walk to my parents bedroom.

Open the door, it was unlocked, and I see it, that scene of my dad rushing to pull his pants up is engrained in my memory. I don’t even use the restroom, I close the door and go back to sleep.

I can’t fall asleep right away, my heart was deadahh pounding😭😭, my mom walks in, I pretend I’m asleep, my dad walks in after, says my name, still pretending to sleep.

Finally fall asleep, wake up 3 hrs later and it’s just so awkward, none of my siblings know, and I do , how do I genuinely get over this??

It IS your fault, not TikTok

I see a lot of people here complain that TikTok is the reason their videos aren’t performing well, and realistically, it’s simply because the video isn’t worthy.

Whether it’s because of its relevance, editing, etc, there IS an EXACT reason you didn’t go viral.

I like to compare making videos on TikTok with debugging code, we sit there for hours trying to debug (make a viral video), and when we can’t figure out why it’s not working, we say “how is this wrong, there’s no way there’s a bug here” (how is this not viral, it’s TikTok’s fault).

But eventually, as you become more consistent with posting (or you code more), you start to learn and pick up on small editing differences that make a BIG impact in how your video performs.

Don’t blame TikTok, just keep grinding, you’re grinding to LEARN (a skill), not make money (love what you do).

Keep going, but learn to LOVE what you do, it’s OBJECTIVELY the best approach.
