Cleaning/Utility Closet - Help!!
Hi! I try to keep my apartment really organized and minimal, with everything having a place, but the one area I’ve been struggling with is my utility/cleaning closet.
I’ve tried organizing it a few times, but I keep adding more stuff in there (as you can probably tell lol). I live in a 700 sq ft apartment, so storage space is super limited and everything really needs a designated spot.
I’d love tips, layout ideas, or links to organization products from Amazon, Target, Walmart, IKEA, etc. that could help make this space more functional while still fitting the minimal vibe of my apartment.
I do need to keep a decent amount of stuff in there, including my walking pad, Swiffer-style mop, wring mop and bucket, actual Swiffer, broom, long-handled lint remover, air purifier filters (some are out in the that photo but the two boxes on the bottom half thrown in there are more), upholstery cleaner machine, steam cleaner, and my vacuum (which is already wall-mounted). (not pictured, but also 1 40lb box of cat litter)
I can move the purse, the mesh bag with hats/gloves, and possibly the boxes at the top into the cabinet above my fridge if needed.
My biggest goal is to make all of my everyday cleaning supplies easy to access since I clean nightly. The upholstery cleaner, steam cleaner, litter, and extra air filters don’t need to be super accessible, but the daily-use stuff definitely does.
Any ideas are appreciated because this closet is currently my enemy
