Bed frame fix
What can I do to stop people from bashing their toe on this bedframe?

What can I do to stop people from bashing their toe on this bedframe?
I LOVE collecting my interests. I have a ton of plushies, funko pops, figurines and a TON of clothing.
Problem is, I have so many, I don't know what to do with them in my dorm room to be more organized and less overwhelming. I just recently decluttered a lot of stuff I don't use or care for anymore, yet no matter what I do I can't find a practical system that works :/
My room is long so I couldn't fit it all in one photo, but the first image is the entrance of my room and the second is the farther back bit if that makes sense.
Any help and tips are appreciated!
This cabinet used to be where everything ended up—tea, coffee, snacks, spreads... and somehow we always thought we were out of things that were actually hiding in the back.
I grouped similar items into stackable bins and added simple labels so everyone knows where things go. It's nothing fancy, but it's made grabbing breakfast and putting groceries away so much easier.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but I'm always looking for ideas. Is there anything you'd change or add?
My kids are 6 and 9, and mornings used to fall apart in the same boring ways. Someone forgot library day. Someone needed sneakers, not Crocs. I was checking my phone while packing lunches, then getting annoyed that everyone was asking me things that were technically already on the calendar.
About a month ago I moved the family schedule onto a wall calendar display in the kitchen. Ours is an Apolosign, but the bigger shift was just putting the schedule where the cereal bowls are, not buried in my phone.
I update it Sunday night after the kids are in bed. Work calls that affect pickup, school stuff, sports, theme days, dinner plans, all of it goes on there. The kids each have a color. My husband has one too, because apparently “you didn’t tell me” was becoming a family hobby.
The chore part is very low-key. My 6 year old has backpack, shoes, water bottle. My 9 year old has lunchbox, feed dog, homework folder. They tap things off while I make coffee. No elaborate rewards, just points toward picking Friday movie or choosing takeout once in a while.
It does need to stay plugged in, so placement mattered. We had one decent outlet near the kitchen counter and that decided it. The voice stuff is basic, so I don’t use it for much.
It hasn’t made mornings magical. It has made me repeat myself less, which honestly counts for a lot before 8 am.
I have a small collection of beer bottles, and it really bothers me to see them like this. The room I have available is small, but I want to either display or store them properly. I don't like having them under this cabinet. Is there a better solution? Does anyone have any ideas? The cabinet floor is 35x50cm.
Hey Everyone!
My 8yo son has a ton of parts, builds, and everything in between from Kiwi Co & Crunch Labs over the past couple of years and counting. I don't know how to organize these! I have parts, partial builds, and complete builds everywhere. He wants to keep them to repurpose for new builds.
Any suggestions for systems or furniture would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of having them scattered around the house or thrown in boxes.
I just purchased a home with a small kitchen. In the past, we have kept our main kitchen trash in our pantry, but this kitchen does not have a walkin pantry. It does have a little peninsula with a bar where bar stools can go, but there is very little space for a trashcan to even sit.
My issue is, no matter what I look up, commenters have complaints. The trash that sits out is gross and smells, as well as is unsightly. But the pullout trashcans in cabinets make the inside of the cabinet gross and it smells in there. But the portable trash covers are bulky and need to be cleaned regularly. There is nothing anyone actually likes!! I just need ideas of whatever you are doing in your home that works. So- if you like your trash system, what is it?
my bedroom is pretty small and it feels like no matter how many times i clean it or rearrange things, it ends up cluttered again pretty fast. i don’t really want to spend a lot on bins, shelves, or organizers if i can avoid it. i’ve tried folding things better and grouping items but it still falls apart after a while. what actually works for keeping a small room organized without constantly needing new storage solutions?
Finally got around to organizing my drawers of clothes. I wear mainly black to the gym so each time, I’m digging through my mess of a drawer to look for something. Found some containers at the local dollarama that work perfectly to allow me to see what’s in there and the fit in the drawers is even better. Now I just gotta make sure to keep this up.
I want to utilize this space better, its a big closet but somehow everything seems so cluttered.
And this isnt all the clothes, massive heap on my bed right now as im trying to re organize.
Any tips appreciated.
I have found myself in a situation where I have too many moving boxes.
What do I do with them? Anywhere I could give them to a better cause?
I am based in London, UK
SHOE*!!! Dang 😭 Above my coat rack, there's a massive space (1m x 90cm / roughly 39" x 35"?) and I'm not really sure what to do with it! I mean storage is the obvious solution, but even if I put an IKEA dröna box or two up there I'll probably have a ton of space leftover. It's hard to get good pictures but from the top of this rack to the ceiling is the space I'm talking about!
I'm not sure how much weight the rack can hold, so I'm worried about doing anything TOO crazy — but maybe somebody has some ideas or some unconventional solutions. Or just something else entirely like decor or whatever :) any thoughts? This closet is almost 300cm / 118" tall (edit: maybe closer to 260-275cm? It's so hard to measure!) so I'd love to make the most of it you know?
Rebuilding the linen closet. Took the shelves out bc they were too deep and always become a disorganized mess. Any suggestions?
I have a ton of books that are sentimental to me and some can't be replaced. This is the current set up in the garage (I know, it makes my heart weep too). Bookshelf has been vetoed as a climbing hazard. Any advice for organizing these in our space without a bookshelf?
Me and my gf were gifted this couch by a family member I do not think this will fit no matter the rearrangement because of the giant ottoman, my S/o on the other hand says it will it there something I'm not seeing can someone help me
I think this organizer from home depot is the easiest and cheapest way to go for making a room into a walking in closet, thoughts?
Hey! I'm looking for some advice. I live in a very small space with a tiny closet and there's an elliptical in my room that has to stay here (unfortunately). I don't have a ton of space to get a dresser but was wondering about some other alternative clothing storage solutions that are small space friendly. I will add that I just downsized the amount of clothes I have before writing this by a pretty good size, but even still it just seems so suffocating. I've been filtering my clothes between two laundry baskets but it's very impracticable.
our garage has become this constant puzzle every season because of the riding mower. it takes up enough room that everything else has to shift around it and during the months we're not mowing it just sits there as dead space we can't really use for anything.
started looking into whether a smaller riding mower with an easier to store footprint actually solves this without giving up too much in terms of comfort or cutting performance. some of the more compact models seem promising on paper but i can't tell if they're a real improvement or just slightly less inconvenient.
curious how other people have approached garage organization around a riding mower specifically. did switching to something smaller actually free up meaningful space or did it end up being a similar storage headache just in a different size
I’m about six months into my business and I was curious how you all go about gaining new clients. I have been focusing on Instagram and Instagram ads. I have my Google business profile set up, but I don’t show up in the results when I search professional organizers in my area. How are you all getting leads? I offer organizing and family assistant services for reference!
Secondly does anyone have any tips or resources when learning about search engine optimization. I’ve tried to go into the back end of my Square site and put in all the keywords for SEO, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything.
Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!
