Deloitte USI WFO doubt: Can Pune-base employees swipe in from Mumbai office and still get WFO counted?

Hey folks,
Need some clarity from people in Deloitte USI.
My base location is Pune and our SAP practice has Tuesday + alternate Friday as WFO days. But I’m currently staying in Mumbai and my project doesn’t specifically require me to be in Pune office.
So wanted to ask:
If I swipe in from Mumbai office instead of Pune, will it still count towards mandatory WFO compliance?

Is WFO tracking location-specific or just based on office swipe-in?

How many hours do we actually need to stay in office for it to count?

Has anyone done cross-office swipes regularly without issues?

Any compliance / HR / manager escalation risks later?

Would really appreciate answers from people who’ve actually done this recently in USI.
Thanks!

Already tagged to one SAP project with billing hours/mail — can I still move to another internal project?

Recently joined Deloitte USI as SAP MM Consultant and got into a confusing staffing situation.
One project has already officially tagged/staffed me and I’ve received the allocation mail with billing hours, start date, etc. I’m expected to start with that team from Monday.
The project seems to involve migration/cutover/deployment initially, though manager mentioned there will also be broader implementation exposure later (configs, integrations, developments, full lifecycle, etc.).
At the same time, another internal project team that interviewed me also wants to onboard me, and that opportunity seems more directly aligned with implementation/build-phase work from the beginning — which is something I personally wanted more.
Wanted to ask experienced consulting folks:
Once billing hours + allocation mail is already released, how difficult is it to move to another project internally?

Does RM usually allow such switches this early?

Is it smarter to just stay with already confirmed project and avoid internal politics?

Or worth trying once for the project you feel aligns better long term?

Trying to handle this professionally since I just joined 😅
