I recently visited my dentist, who informed me that I have decay adjacent to an old filling. He advised that the issue is not urgent and that I could wait approximately 6–8 months before having it filled. However, after returning home and examining the area myself, the cavity appears quite large. Given this, I am wondering whether it would be advisable to seek a second opinion.
