OPG/Bruce Power - NOIT Role

For the third year in a row, you have sent me an automated rejection email, despite the fact that you reached out to me via email for the role.

Recruiters, I urge you to stop reaching out to candidates through email and LinkedIn if you aren't going to provide feedback to applicants. It is a waste of everyone's time, not to mention disrespectful, to contact people annually for a role they might be a match for, only to have them get an automated rejection two weeks later. Why bother reaching out at all?

This goes double for entities like OPG and Bruce Power who don't really have a mechanism for external members of the public to contact HR regarding the hiring process. I'm not even sure their public-facing email addresses are even monitored at this point. The social media pages are operated by teams that are completely isolated from the company itself, so there really is no way to get in touch with anyone.

Natalee from HR, if you are reading this, I am extremely disappointed in you. A university graduate with 15 years recruiting experience should know better.
