Hi everyone,

My family may be relocating to Luxembourg due to my spouse's US official assignment, and I may continue working remotely for my U.S.-based employer.

My employer's main concern is whether my working remotely from Luxembourg could create any employer tax/payroll/legal obligations there.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, especially under diplomatic/official assignment status? Or can anyone point me toward useful resources, lawyers, accountants, or guidance on how these situations are typically handled?
