My experience of being robbed in Limerick recently
I just wanted to share something that happened to me recently to spread awareness of being kind to strangers.
About a two weeks ago, I was watching the all ireland match and was sitting outside Supermac’s when a group of around eight young girls came over to me and asked if they could use my phone to call their mother.
I was honestly a bit hesitant because I didn’t know them, but they were very young and I felt bad for them, so I handed them my phone.
They then took a €50 note that I had tucked into the back of my phone, smashed my NEW phone off of the floor and ran off laughing. I not only lost €50 but had to also pay to get a new front and back screen.
I managed to catch up with them, but instead of giving it back, one of them spat in my face. They were also threatening me, saying they would get their mother to come and “jump” me.
It was honestly a horrible experience, especially because I only gave them my phone in the first place because I felt sorry for them and assumed they genuinely needed to use it.
I know there are loads of discussions about theft and antisocial behaviour in Limerick at the moment, so I just wanted to share my own experience and remind people to be careful, even when someone seems harmless because they’re young. Don’t hand your phone or belongings to strangers.
Angel Lane Limerick
What has all of your experiences been lkke there. I have had a few questionable ones to say the least.
Bus Stop Limerick Today.
I was sitting in arthur’s quay bus stop, when a bunch of young hooligans began tickling Stewie in his chair. Strange & Rude to say the least.
Did anyone see what happened in Arthur’s Quay today?
Someone punched and arrested..
Why is it so hard to find a job in Limerick?
I am 18 and have applied for over 200 jobs, and nobody replies, and if they do it’s to say I didn’t make it to the next stage. It’s ridiculous even with 2 years of experience!
