Getting inconsistent plan rates

I’m on an older plan (Magenta Max) trying to upgrade my ~4yo iPhone. I’m getting an offer that if I change to a newer plan (Experience More) I’ll get double the trade-in credit, meaning no monthly payments on the new phone, and it says this plan won’t change my bill at all; I will pay exactly the same rate for the plan. It’s pretty comparable features, so that checks out to me.

But when I look at plan options from the homepage instead of from my cart, it shows that switching to Experience More would increase my bill by $95/mo). What are the chances that I accept the above upgrade offer with plan change that’s claiming to have 0 monthly cost impact, the get surprised by my next bill being 40% higher than it’s been for years?

See screenshots of the offers I’m getting in two adjacent browser tabs.

(I had a genuinely nightmarish experienced trying to make sure I actually got what T-Mobile advertised/promised me when I first switched to it, which is one of the big reasons I haven’t upgrade yet—you couldn’t pay me enough to deal with that customer service again. Thankfully, since then I have miraculously had 3 years of consistent bills and no questions. But keep in mind I like my phone service to require absolutely no effort or thought or surprise on my part even if that means keeping dated tech.)
