We're travelling to Tulum/Riviera Maya in January and staying at a resort with our toddler. Naturally, I started looking into day trips and things to do outside the hotel. But the more I read, the more anxious I get.

It feels like every post warns you about something different: overpriced or double-charged entrance fees, taxi scams, avoiding certain transportation, hidden costs, aggressive vendors, even stories about corrupt police. It's honestly hard to tell what's real and what's exaggerated.

We don't want to spend our entire vacation inside the resort. We're not looking for nightlife or anything adventurous. We just want to do the basic tourist stuff: visit a beautiful cenote, see Chichén Itzá, maybe spend a day at an amazing beach, and enjoy the area with our little one.

Is it really as difficult as the internet makes it sound? Can you actually have a relaxed, scam-free experience if you stick to the usual attractions? Would you recommend booking tours through the resort, renting a car, or something else?

I'd really appreciate practical advice from people who have visited recently, especially families with young children. Thanks!

Mein Mann und ich haben vor 5 Jahren standesamtlich geheiratet, damals in Corona mit 25 Leuten. Wir haben uns damals versprochen kirchlich zu heiraten in größer und schöner. Nun sind einige Jahre seitdem vergangen und wir können uns irgendwie nicht ganz aufraffen so viel Geld in die Hand zu nehmen. Kirchlich heiraten und eine schöne Feier haben wollen wir immer noch. Gleichzeitig ist es uns das Geld irgendwie nicht wert. Die meisten in meinem Umfeld waren am Ende alle von so einer großen Sause etwas enttäuscht, da die Stimmung doch nicht so toll war oder sich dann teilweise die Menschen noch hinterrücks beschwert haben. Darauf haben wir nicht so Lust, da unser aktuelles Umfeld nicht so berauschend ist. In den letzten Jahren ist in seiner und meiner Familie viel vorgefallen und der Kontakt wird immer schlechter. So hart es klingt, hätten wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht Mal viele Personen mit denen wir also groß feiern wollen würden. Hat schon Mal jemand im europäischen Ausland kirchlich geheiratet? Mit 5 Leuten im Schlepptau und kann davon berichten?

EDIT: JA MEINE IDEE IST VLLT NICHT GANZ DURCHDACHT, aber ich suche hier nicht um Belehrungen, sondern um Erfahrungsberichte oder Umsetzungsvorschläge. Ich muss doch nicht extra meine kompletten Lebensumstände runterbeten, damit das für euch Sinn ergibt.

How Much Can You Actually Earn with FitLine?

A colleague of mine sells FitLine products. After doing a bit of research, I understand that it’s an MLM business model. What I’m wondering now is how much money he actually makes from it.

He leases his car through the company, and once a year there’s a short trip to Croatia. Other than that, I haven’t really noticed any major benefits.

So I’m curious how much money people can realistically earn with this, especially considering that he doesn’t even work full-time.

Selbst geimpft, Kinder nicht. Selber Botox, Kind wird IBU verweigert bei Schmerzen/ Krankheit. Leider können wir mit der Familie den Kontakt nicht direkt abbrechen, aber jedes Treffen wird mittlerweile zu einer Qual, weil sie nur noch Scheiße von sich geben. Ich kann damit mittlerweile nicht mehr umgehen.
