I have maths which is 25 points extra and my fourth AS grade gives me 18 points
Btw 2027 entry and the hpat is now out of 150 and theres no scaling of points
Should i repeat my a levels i got bbc . Maths i was one mark off an A. and i really want to do med. should i take a gap year and repeat, im already a year behind due to personal reasons, i also have the ucat to do, help please, should i just do pharmaceutical sciences and do grad entry, which will be harder
context: i applied to qub and got an interview and afterwards got put on a waiting list. in may i got a rejection saying that i would only get a place if i met the requirements and those who got an offer didnt, or had firmed elsewhere. i dont have any other med offers, if i did they would never offer me a place. I just dont want to get my hopes up high but is it possible and if so how likely
if im revising for ucat can i not revise hpat, and then after my ucat start hapt
If i get 2 A stars and 1 A and i do maths and i have an AS so that bring me up to 592 unscaled points. Should i still do hpat and try med. idk what the changes are but is there a chance?
Are there any course i can do that will allow me to transfer into second year of medicine if i redo hpat, ik some unis allow that but i dont know which ones, say i do biological and biomed sciences at tcd
realistically if i get a Hpat of 160-170, is A*A*A enough, i do maths btw so thats 25pts extra
