I know the lift pump is the same on some other models like a 190d but I can’t seem to find a gasket anywhere in America . Can I used gasket maker to put it back . One other thing is does the center shaft also spin . I know the pin in the middle moves in and out to pump the fuel but I wasn’t sure about the whole shaft .
I notice there was two bushing that was torn near the center of the car . It’s located on a bracket that mounted near the rear of the transmission pan . It looks like it leads to a bracket that is on the exhaust pipe along the center . Is this bracket important because I search high and low and found no information on this part . I can’t seem to find a picture of it but I did take a picture of it but it’s lot in my phone somewhere . I will post an asap .
I follow the diagram and what people are posting on the Internet about hooking up the speaker output to the fader . I didn't hear not a sound from the radio . It seems like this car is hard to put in a radio
Is the cap with the two hose supposed to be loose inside this unit ? The cap is vibrating and it's moving up and down about 1 to 2 mm when the car is underload . There's something telling me that this cap isn't suppose to be loose . It sounds like it's purging air out the side around the rim where it seats onto the metal housing .
