Other kids joke about him having a huge dick / his mom having huge tits. His family's hair texture is much coarser than the other Japanese characters. His "God", who is actually just Punpun himself, is a picture of Inio Asano with an afro, which I'm pretty sure is just the authors actual hair texture. Every picture of Inio looks like he's wearing a wig. There are panels in the manga where Punpun imagines himself as that random black character. When we see close ups of the Punpun family's hands, they're a deep black color. Punpun hands are a mixture of black and white stripes. I don't think punpun is full black, but definitely mixed with something that gives him curly hair.
