VAWA I-360/I-485 transferred to Field Office for interview – anyone similar?

Looking to see if anyone has been in a similar situation.

I-485 filed: May 3, 2021
I-360 VAWA filed: February 9, 2022
RFE response received by USCIS: April 8, 2026
No updates or changes on either case in the USCIS online portal since then.

My congressman’s office just told me today that both my I-360 and I-485 are now at the local USCIS Field Office waiting for an interview slot to become available.

Has anyone had their I-360 and I-485 sent to a Field Office together for an interview? If so, how long did you wait between the Field Office receiving the case and getting your interview notice? And was the I-360 approved before or after the interview?

VAWA transferred to NBC after 4+ years — anyone with a similar timeline? Post

I’m wondering if anyone with a VAWA case has been in a similar situation or can share what happened after their case was transferred to NBC.

My timeline:
I-485 filed: June 8, 2021
I-360 VAWA filed: February 9, 2022
RFE response received by USCIS: April 8, 2026 (Also sent Medicals along with RFE response)
I have also had multiple congressional inquiries and follow-ups due to the long processing time.

Recently, my congresswoman’s office was told by Vermont that my I-360 had been transferred to NBC on June 30th. were told the transfer was related to an interview requirement, but NBC has not provided any further information or interview date yet.

It has now been roughly 5–6 weeks since the transfer, and neither my I-360 nor I-485 online case status shows any update reflecting the transfer or interview.

Has anyone with a VAWA I-360/I-485 experienced something similar?

Especially curious how long after an NBC transfer you received an interview notice or other movement, and whether your online status ever showed the transfer.
Any recent VAWA timelines would be appreciated.

Advance Parole - Travel experience. Indian citizen

I reached home successfully yesterday after a two week trips to India and then Canada. I entered from Toronto airport, so the immigration was done at the airport. It’s called Pre check by US CBP.

It took two hours in the secondary inspections officer asked me questions. He wrote down a statement on a piece of paper. But he was nice and he spent most of the time on the computer if he had any questions between he would ask me politely.

I was seeing a lot of news about not being safe on traveling in advance parole. I’ve been using advance for the last four years several times last one was early 2025 and most recent is yesterday 7/20/26.

Just sharing this information thinking that it might help some people. I also have a misdemeanor and an another felony arrest with no conviction.
