I'm helping a small hospitality group that currently manages reservations across several locations, and we're considering moving everything into one restaurant CRM and reservation system.

Right now, each location handles bookings and guest information slightly differently. This makes it difficult to recognize returning customers, keep track of preferences, and run consistent marketing campaigns across the business.

Ideally, we're looking for a platform that can handle online reservations while building detailed guest profiles automatically.

For example, if someone regularly visits one location, we'd like other locations to see relevant information such as previous visits, seating preferences, special occasions, and other useful notes.

Automated email and SMS campaigns would also be important. We'd like to send reservation confirmations, reminders, birthday offers, loyalty promotions, and campaigns to guests who haven't visited in a while.

Multi-location reporting, mobile or tablet access, and an easy booking widget for our website are also priorities.

I've been looking at platforms such as Eat App, OpenTable, Resy, and SevenRooms. They seem to approach guest management, marketing, pricing, and diner acquisition differently.

One thing I'm particularly interested in is guest data ownership. We'd prefer a restaurant CRM and reservation system that lets us build our own customer database without becoming too dependent on per-cover fees or a third-party marketplace.
