Matchafluencers getting better matcha or using Filters?
Hello everyone. I have been making matcha since 2018 but daily since dec24 and I've tried a bunch of different brands and different price points. I noticed that Matcha I order does not look as neon as they do in Videos sometimes. Or creators that have codes/PR make it look better than when an unbiased creator uses it. It could be lighting but I am very confused.
Since I am from Germany I am limited in the typical American Brands like Rebel Bunny or Nami Matcha and haven't tried them personally but the videos show different colors for the same powder.
A German Brand named Noritualab has disappointed me so often because their videos look way better than what I get in the mail and it's very frustrating.
I use different ratios and I even copied @the_matchadiary 's ratio and powder and in natural lighting it looks completely different (my kan isn't oxidized and tastes amazing)
I feel like it could maybe be false advertising and people obsessing too much over color but I am curious if I am just interpreting too much into it and what you guys think.
Also. NO HATE to the creator. I used her as an example but I noticed this with many different people.
