Nothing fancy, just my daily matcha latte looking extra cute today. 💚 The green + pink combo makes me way happier than it should 😂🌸🍵
I’ve been using a milk frother to make my matcha up until today. My matcha set finally arrived. I’ve watched countless videos on whisking it properly and getting the ratios down. Any advice to improve?
Used Matcha “Seiho”

Absolutely love sayaka, more than ikuyo. So vibrant and green in color, and you’ll see how pretty the koicha is!!! It’s very high in my rankings especially for lattes. I know there’s some controversy on whether or not it gets lost in a milk, but I use my typical 4g/45ml/120ml and I personally taste it very well!! For some reference, it’s either on par with or above MK yugen for me.
Rich and balanced umami
Creamy and natural lingering sweetness
Slight vegetal/savory feel
Very little to no astringency
Perfect touch of light bitterness
Next on my list is ummon… maybe for Christmas lol.
First time trying this brand, and boy this amused me! Tho this is the lowest grade in the line up (which is why it’s a white colored can), but it’s really smooth and pairs really well with milk! Not overpowering at all!
This is 中村藤吉 Nakamura Tokichi ‘s 藤の白 Fuji no Shiro.
Bought another 3 color cans but i forgot the names lol
ocha no kanbayashi — oku mukashi feat. bonsoy milk
• medium-high umami
• extremely smooth grassiness (low astringency)
• low bitterness
• mild sweetness
• slightly creamy
Not good with flavor profiles, but it tastes like sweet spinach or something. Generally good, but expensive as a latte :< haha. Will try as usucha soon!
First time buying from them, kinda picked at random so hope they’re good.
If anyone has tried these ones before, would love your reviews. I mainly do iced lattes.
Hi fellow matcha lovers!
Wondering if anyone knows if there’ll be a restock for the Hatoya sale? Everything minus the really expensive premium options sold out after one day 🫠🫠🫠.
Just wondering if people who maybe ordered during last year’s sale could share their experience, and give those of us who missed the first rush a bit of hope!
I went a little crazy for the free shipping but got over 300g for $160! Sale here
Hi guys! Question for all the matcha lovers residing in the European Union 🍵 Where do you buy your matcha?
Since the introduction of the new tax laws, matcha prices have skyrocketed. I’ve checked some of the well-known brands, and it seems almost impossible to order without paying at least double the usual price.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations for good-quality matcha at a reasonable price! 💚
Finally getting to the end of my matcha stash from two years ago and wanted to get some recommendations on matcha powders to buy. I really only drink matcha lattes using oat or ultra filtered milk and with some kind of flavoring (syrup, strawberry, ube etc..) and was wondering what other ones I should look into.
I really liked Aoarashi but it now seems way too expensive for what it is. Looking for recommendations in the US and in Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto)
I used 6g sayaka, made a paste w 15mL room temp water, then whisked in 45mL of 75° water
Here’s the SOP I use for a Salted Caramel Matcha Latte:

Ratio: 4 g matcha : 45 g water : 180 ml milk : 15 ml caramel : 100 g ice
Hi guys! I'm Bayan, the founder of Froth Haus! I wanted to join the group, introduce myself, and hopefully get to know some fellow matcha lovers.
I know there's SO much to learn when it comes to matcha, so l'd love to hear your questions, opinions, or anything you guys are curious about!
Froth Haus is still a baby brand (our 1-year anniversary is coming up), and right now we only carry one blend - Haus Reserve.
I'm genuinely not here to sell you guys anything! I just thought this would be a fun place to connect with other matcha lovers, learn from the community, and chat all things matcha.
I realise this may sound stupid but…
I’ve got a temperature control kettle, a chawan bowl, a bamboo whisk, decent proportions, pretty decent microfoam after I whisk for 30-60 seconds.Tried both oat and regular milk… tried with and without maple syrup, and whether I use a cheap supermarket brand or an expensive matcha like YK samidori, they always taste a bit bitter and fishy.
What can I do right to make it sweet, quite neutral and grassy without the fishy/ seaweedy bitter aftertaste.
I’ve experiment with temperature, and all of the above.
Az előző matchás kérdésemre nagyon hasznos válaszokat kaptam. Kérlek segítsetek ebben is nekem!
Végül a Tea Útja Teaházból rendeltem matchát. :) Egyelőre még várom a futárt.
