Euroairlines problems

I booked a flight using euroairlines on July 18. I received a PNR code and ticket number from euroairlines almost immediately. The flight is CUN - HAV. I never received any further information on which carrier I would be flying on but figured out quickly that it’s Viva Aerobús based on flight times and schedule.

Last week I used my Euroairlines PNR code to look up my flight status on Viva and it would not work. I called Viva and spoke to an agent and they confirmed that they fly this route but that my name is not on their manifest. A Google search states that Euroairlines likely didn’t synchronize my purchase with Viva Aerobús, which I am assuming means they never told them that I bought a ticket. Viva recommended that I contact Euroairlines and advise them as I will not be able to board with my current confirmation page from Euroairlines.

I’ve sent multiple emails to Euroairlines and it’s been three days we no response.

Any recommendations on what to do (other than don’t use Euroairlines of course)? Anyone have any experience with this synchronization issue?

My scheduled flight was August 31. At what point should I dispute the charge on my credit card for services not received and just buy a ticket direct from an airline.

Thanks for reading.

Conjugal partner pathway (Outland) scenario and question

I am intending to consult with an immigration lawyer but I thought I would share my scenario here as this subreddit has had good advice before.

I am a Canadian citizen. I have been in a relationship with a Cuban woman for 3 years.
I live with her in Cuba part time and return to Canada solely for work obligations.

We have a 2 year old daughter together who was born in Cuba and lives in Cuba full time with my partner but she is a Canadian citizen.

We spent 11 and a half months straight together in Cuba during 2024/2025 after the birth of our daughter while I was on paternity leave (I know that my partner won’t qualify for spousal sponsorship because it wasn’t a full year).

I have traveled to Cuba monthly for a duration of two weeks for the past 2 years after I finished my paternity leave. We share a lease together on an apartment that we rent in Cuba. I have a document from the Cuban government with all my entrances and exits over the past 3+ years demonstrating my commitment. We have photos and videos showing the seriousness of our relationship. I have receipts for the money that I send to support them every two weeks.

Here is the issue. I have been separated from my Canadian wife for over 3.5 years. Separate residencies, separate bank accounts. I have been trying to get her to sign a formal separation agreement and file for divorce for over a year now, with the intention to marry my Cuban
partner afterwards, but she is not complying.

I feel like I am wasting our time waiting for her to sign a divorce while my new partner and child sit in the hellscape that has become Cuba waiting for me.

My marriage to my ex (and her non compliance with divorce) is the only thing preventing me from marrying my new partner. My work obligations are preventing me from qualifying for common-law sponsorship by residing with her in Cuba for a full year.

With all the above information said, what is the likelihood that she would be approved for conjugal sponsorship?

Thank you for reading.

Cuban entering South America. Where to go?

If you were a Cuban who found their way to Surinam where would you go to try and settle into a new life within South America. Extra consideration for countries that are welcoming to Cubans, safety and ability to work once settled.
