In the 1960’s I recall my mother was fond of using “alla tiders” for utmärkt, and I see that SO lists this expression as något ålderdomligt, with the exanple “det vore alla tiders om vi kunde träffas snart!”. I’m curious how the expression came to be – its literal meaning seems to be something like “of all times”. Maybe the thinking behind it is “the best [ … ] of all time” ... would I be on the right track here?
I’m wondering about the second instance of the particle ”att” in this recent sentence from SvD:
”han (Trump) meddelar att han därför att instruerat försvarsminister Pete Hegseth att markant inskränka övningen”
What is it doing and should it even be there? Would att han därför instruerat be possible or better?

I have been trying to read this webpage ”Myrslåtter i norra Sverige – förutsättningar för framtida skötsel”, but am stuck on the very first word — what precisely is ”myrslåtter”? Grateful if someone can help. (Am reading Ulrike Lagerlöf’s Hjortron myren, which is what led me here.)
I've been looking at various verbs for causation in Swedish ─ vallå, orsaka, förorsaka, åsamka, ådraga. Would it be fair to say that all carry negative connotations, causing some sort of difficulty for oneself or someone else, with the exception of orsaka, which is more neutral, and can imply any outcome, either good or bad?
I've just come across att förespegla, a marvellous word that is sometimes hard to translate into English I find, or hard to do so elegantly. I am wondering what would be the correct translation, if I may use that term, in this example:-
“han förespeglades en snabb karriär”
Would it be that he was led to expect a rapid career, or he was expected to have a rapid career?
Would “the decision was taken with great anguish” be a plausible translation of “beslutet fattades under stor vånda”? (This is the only example of vånda that SO gives.)
And what about “själavånda”? Would “anguish” be a good translation of this?
“Ordräcka” is an example given in SO illustrating use of the substantive “räcka”, but it doesn't mean much to me - a line of words??
And for the seafarers amongst you, would “att lossa förtöjningarna” translate as “to cast off”?
Is there any connection between the words "ogynnsam" and "ogin"?

Folkhemsestetiken tömdes helt enkelt på idéer och blev till en trendig men tämligen ihålig stil.
What puzzles me is the word Folkhemsestetiken. Is the sentence an elaborate metaphor about the Swedish welfare system, or are we talking about the décor in a Folkhem ─- and if so what’s that — something like ett äldreboende, or is it something else?
SO defines gunås as ”förstärkande kommentar till något man beklagar el. förnekar”. Whilst I have found numerous examples illustrating ”beklagar” (”någon nöjesresa var detta gunås inte”, etc) I have so far found none to illustrate ”förnekar”. Can anyone help?
Is “tillfyllest” an exact synonym for “tillräckligt”? Suppose “tillräckligt” were substituted in these examples, would they have a different nuance?
