Hi everyone! I’m moving to Lincoln in August and I’m looking for a studio or 1-bedroom apartment under $800.

I’d prefer something within a 20-minute walk to UNL city campus. Since I’m new to Lincoln, I’m mainly looking for recommendations in decent, safe neighborhoods. Ideally, I can also walk to a bus stop for the 24 or 25 bus route.

I came across Campus Edge Apartments managed by Century Sales & Management, and a bedroom on N 28th St managed by Prime Edge Management. But they seem kind of shady and not a new build. Since my price point is low do I have to settle for an old construction?

Please share any other apartment complexes or areas you would recommend?
