Looking for an embryologists opinion- I had my first ER yesterday. We are doing IVF w/ ICSI for severe MFI- my husband has bilateral varicoceles that have not yet been treated. total count on his last SA was 17 with 5.88 motile, 1% morphology, 66% immotile. DNA fragmentation was never tested. We opted to add Lenshooke as well. 12 eggs were retrieved and 8 matured and 7 fertilized. However, they told me that his semen did not meet lenshooke parameters and the sample was processed as an ICSI wash. Can anyone explain to me why they would do that? I know that lenshooke isnt magic but we were really hoping it would at least help. I have had two miscarriages from natural conception.
