I hate the way my dad yelled my name out
English is not my first language so apologies for any potential confusion.
My dad has a loud voice and he, no matter how close he is to me, will “scream” out my full name.
This is the third time of this month that I got scared by him YELLING my name out behind me at the middle of the night. My back was facing him when he screamed out my name and that immediately scared the hell out of me to the point that I just naturally yelled “arghhh”. And that’s not even the most annoying part.
He then immediately yelled “TF IS WRONG WITH YOU, SCREAMING AT NIGHT. ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE”.
I then retaliated “you scared me first. And not only you did not apologise or acknowledge that. Idc about that part now cause I know you didn’t do it on purpose. But you then immediately said Im insane???”
He then replied “how did I scare you? Why are you making a fucking scene”
I then replied “ok thats why I said I didnt care about that part anymore!! But I am your daughter and you should at least ask if I AM OK!!” (Tbf at this point I do feel a bit dramatic lol)
He then just said “okokokok” and I stayed quiet cause I know he wouldn’t change his actions ever.
I still didn’t know why he screamed out my name and the whole thing just sucks.
