Looking for some solid quality sellers

Hey guys, been browsing around a bit but there are just too many options.
Do you have any tried-and-true stores you’d recommend? Specifically looking for ones with good materials and solid stitching, not just cheap knockoffs.
Appreciate any suggestions!

Breakdown of my latest long-sleeve haul, Blockcore, Vintage Wash, & Graphic Heavy

Trying to swap out plain hoodies for more interesting long-sleeve layers this season. Here is a quick breakdown of the vibes I’m going for with each piece:

  1. Sporty / Blockcore: Off-white contrast-piping top + Baggy track pants or dark jeans + Low-top sneakers.
  2. Graphic / Y2K Streetwear: Dark grey monitor collage tee + Washed charcoal cargo pants + Chunky shoes.
  3. Thrift / Vintage Prep: Acid-wash varsity "08" shirt + Loose beige trousers + Leather loafers.
  4. Quiet / Minimalist: Slate grey center-crest top + Pleated grey dress trousers + Clean boots.

Highlight: The sleeve cuts on these raglan tops hit just right over the wrist without bunching up weirdly.

Is Wrinkled Linen Just Part of the Look?

Picked up a linen outfit recently, and I really like how relaxed and effortless it looks. It has that clean, timeless style that works especially well in warm weather.

The only downside is how quickly it wrinkles. Even after a short time of wearing it, the creases become pretty noticeable.

For those of you who wear linen often, how do you deal with it?

Do you steam or iron it before wearing, or just embrace the natural wrinkles as part of the fabric's character?

Would love to hear any care tips or things you've learned from wearing linen.

Best power bank for long haul flights?

Flying 14 hours next month and want to keep my laptop and phone alive the whole flight. The seat has no power outlet. What are people using for full day battery backup?

What's one purchase you don't regret at all?

Mine has to be an insulated water bottle. I thought it would just be another bottle, but I end up taking it everywhere now. Keeps drinks cold all day and somehow made me drink way more water.

What's been your best purchase lately?

anker prime 300w power bank, been using it since october

work from cafes most days so this thing gets used a lot. I don't really have anything groundbreaking to say about it, it just works and I keep using it. I pick whatever seat I want now instead of the one near the outlet which is nice. One thing that was useful though, I plugged in my laptop a few weeks ago and the screen was showing 25W. That seemed low so I tried a different cable and it jumped to 90W. I'd been slow charging for I don't know how long with a bad cable and had no idea. Kind of annoying but at least I figured it out. Checked the app out of curiosity the other day and battery health says 97%. I charge it pretty much every day and I'm not careful with it at all so that seems fine

Trying to build a quiet luxury wardrobe but my outfits always look off — need advice

I’ve tried a few different styles lately, including light technical wear and City Boy fits, but I keep coming back to quiet luxury / old money styling.

The problem is that outfits look great in photos or product listings, but once I wear similar pieces myself, the result feels completely different. The fit looks ordinary, the fabric doesn’t drape the way I expected, and the whole outfit can end up looking more like generic officewear than relaxed and refined.

I’m hoping to get some advice on two things:

  1. Any brands that actually focus on good fabric, clean tailoring, and subtle details instead of obvious logos?
  2. Are there any other clean, minimal styles that are easier to pull off if quiet luxury is too dependent on body type, proportions, or expensive materials? I’ve been considering smart casual, but I’m open to other ideas.

For reference, I’m 181 cm tall and usually wear EU 44 / US 10 shoes. Would appreciate honest advice on fabrics, fit, styling, or common mistakes to avoid.

[Recent Pickups] A Few Neutral Pieces I Added for Summer

Picked up a few things recently and thought I’d share them here. Most of them are simple neutral pieces that can be worn together without much planning.

The first is a light grey striped knit tee. It has a subtle texture and a relaxed fit, so it works well with trousers or denim without looking too plain.

I also picked up a black-and-white knit polo with a contrasting collar and placket. It has a little more detail than a basic polo but is still easy to wear with darker pants.

For trousers, I went with a dark espresso-brown pleated pair. The color feels softer than black, and the wider fit makes it comfortable for everyday wear.

The shoes are simple black leather slip-on sneakers with a textured upper. They have been an easy option when I do not want to think too much about footwear.

My favorite combination so far has been the striped knit tee with the brown trousers, but the polo works well with them too.

Which piece would you wear most: the striped knit tee, the contrast polo, the brown trousers, or the black sneakers?

[OOTD] Four Summer Fits: Knitwear, Neutral Tones & Relaxed City Boy Style

Been wearing a lot more neutral tones and textured basics lately. Put together four summer looks built around relaxed proportions, knit tees, light fabrics, and simple accessories.

Fit 1 — Cream Knit + Drawstring Shorts

A light cream knit tee with subtle layered collar details, paired with off-white drawstring shorts. Finished with white-and-grey gum sole sneakers, a steel watch, and a simple travel bag.

Easy resort / weekend outfit without feeling too dressed up.

Fit 2 — Grey Knit + Washed Black Denim

Mid-grey textured knit tee with wide-leg washed charcoal denim. The softer knit and heavier denim give the outfit a bit more contrast, while black-and-white sneakers keep it grounded.

Probably the most City Boy-inspired look here.

Fit 3 — Ribbed Knit + Pleated Trousers

Heather grey ribbed knit top with relaxed off-white pleated trousers. Kept the rest simple with white sneakers and a steel watch.

This one is more polished, but still comfortable enough for everyday wear.

Fit 4 — Short-Sleeve Shirt + Tonal Shorts

Off-white short-sleeve button-up with matching drawstring shorts, finished with brown suede mule-style shoes.

Very light, easy, and probably the best option for hot weather.

Which fit would you wear most: 1, 2, 3, or 4?

What’s one purchase you thought would be a “nice to have” but ended up using constantly?

I’m trying to shop a little more intentionally and avoid buying things that only seem useful in the moment.

What’s something you bought recently that turned out to be genuinely useful in daily life? Could be clothing, a bag, home item, tech, or anything else.

Bonus points if it’s something you didn’t expect to like as much as you do.

What’s the single best item you’ve picked up recently?

Looking to hear about everyone's recent wins. What is the single best item you have bought recently that completely exceeded your expectations?

I'm less interested in the budget batches and more focused on pieces that nailed the technical execution, material quality, and accuracy.

Drop your best recent pickup below and mention:

  • Item Name / Style: (e.g., footwear, knitwear, outerwear, trousers)
  • Material/Build Quality: How does the fabric feel in hand? (e.g., suede nap, stitching density, knit weight, structural integrity)
  • Sizing/Fit: Is it true-to-size (TTS) or did you need to size up/down?
  • Why it's a win: What makes it stand out compared to other batches or retail?

One Thing This Season Got Absolutely Right: The Bags

Just finished looking through the latest menswear collection, and honestly, I have pretty mixed feelings about the clothing.

There are definitely some interesting ideas in there, but the overall direction feels a bit all over the place to me. It seems like the collection is trying to push things in a new direction while still holding onto familiar elements, and the result didn't completely click for me.

That said, the bags are a different story.

They're probably the standout category from the entire collection. The shapes feel practical, the color palette is easy to wear, and most of the designs strike a nice balance between modern and classic.

A lot of the tones lean into muted browns, soft neutrals, and deeper autumn colors, which makes them feel especially suited for fall and winter. Nothing feels overly flashy, but they still have enough character to stand out.

What I like most is that they look like bags people would actually use. Clean lines, understated details, and a slightly vintage-inspired feel that should age pretty well.

Not sure the clothing is for me this season, but a few of the bags definitely caught my attention.
