Lawyer / Legal Advice on Fidelity Account Being Blocked.
Over a week ago, I attempted to wire money from my Fidelity account into my personal banking account. Fidelity mobile app would not allow this prompting me to call – I call speak with an agent to wire everything goes smooth and then they block my account… no information. Nothing, I reach out over the course of four days to be told. Nobody can speak with the fraud/security department.
Fast forward I go into a branch with tax documents. Everything to verify it is Me. They say the same thing as the reps told me online and I wait and wait yesterday; They finally give me a call, unblock my account, I go to login today and prompted with my account being blocked AGAIN! I called Fidelity and I’m told on the phone. It was an “error” that my account was even unblocked in the first place, and it was placed back on a block, told no further information and hung up on multiple times by several different reps.
This is ridiculous and I’m potentially seeking a lawyer if there are any suggestions on this matter or what process to follow. Again I have called Fidelity over 30 times in the past week and told the same thing that nobody has access even supervisors refused to escalate the situation.
Again, I have verified my identity multiple times, gone into the physical branch to be told that they cannot contact security – I am currently behind on almost every one of my bills and was relying on pulling this money and it has been nothing but a headache for nearly two weeks.
Please if anybody has any insight, I need it ASAP.
