6.6 archon quest (may go on a bit of a rant sorry)
Imo it was so bad and I’m very disappointed. Now don’t get me wrong, I never expected much from Hoyo after they fucked up some of the characters but they couldn’t even do the bare minimum. Nothing even changed and everyone is fine again. Though it does seem like the hero of Sumeru leaks were wrong.
Nothing life changing even happened to Irminsul and on the leaks from earlier it said that things from Celestia and Scaramouche’s identity will be remembered but the only person that remembered Scara’s real identity is Dottore, who is literally dead with no cutscene which pissed me off even more bc he’s been in the game for a long time. Scara didn’t even get that much scenes with Dottore too. It was literally just the fighting scene when they got to interact when Dottore pissed Scara off by calling him by his real name and brought up his past. We only got to see Scara’s past self for like three seconds. I wasn’t so bothered about him not being involved in 6.5 since that was mainly for Columbina, but 6.6 I’m surprised that he wasn’t as involved. He was involved in the fight but not as much as he was meant to.
He’s back to living his normal life as a collage student and they are STILL calling him hat guy. This is seriously pmo they can’t even call him Wanderer and no Fatui related things. I was seriously hoping for something more interesting but no??? They didn’t even mention anything about his past, nothing about what he’s done to Sumeru and Inazuma, now they’re all happily living ever after. With Irminsul being burnt I would’ve thought that something life changing would’ve happened. I really wanted to see everyone react to seeing his identity exposed.
My main problem is that he’s such an important character, been a character since Mondstadt then was the first person to tell us about the fake sky and they completely ignore everything that he’s done and said in the past then call him hat guy and now he’s just an Akademiya student and nothing more.
