Possible hpv/warts / F 30yo
Hello everyone, I’m back again here.
I posted a few months ago in January, when I was newly diagnosed with hsv2 down there.
I was taking a shower Monday morning when I felt a bump on my vulva just below my mons pubis where vulva opens up. It’s a skin tag that is skin color. I freaked out and made an appointment with a primary care dr. She said it was most likely genital warts and referred me to gyne. Unfortunately, there’s no appointments until a month from now which I’m booked for.
I only saw one and earlier today I saw another bump but this one was different and was more on the inside of my butt cheek, not close to my anus.
I’m just so scared and spiraling. My Pap smear was last year in march and everything was normal, I didn’t get hpv tested because I was 29 then. I won’t have another pap until 2028.
Anyone have any advice? The HSV2 diagnosis was hard as is and accepting it was tough and this is like starting all over. My partner which I’ve been sexually active with since last year June has no hsv2 symptoms and no genital warts. There’s no infidelity suspicion and we’re in a monogamous relationship.
How will they test me for HPV? Can I still clear it on my own at 30 yo?
