boss asked me to work the week after my two-weeks notice
Context: I got a job offer and did the physical & live scan already. Once I clear that, I was told by the new company that the orientation would start the 26th of this month. I sent my two-weeks notice to my current job with my last day being the 22nd. I was asked if I could work the week after (my intended orientation week) because they are short-staffed. My current boss basically wants me to complete my orientation and then commute immediately to work after. Everyday, my boss has been asking me if it’s possible since I said I would ask the HR how long the orientation would be and what days (but I never did lol). His desperation is actually annoying me. Should I work the week I’m being asked or should I just tell them no and be done with it?
EDIT: I sent the F U email!!! (Said I CANNOT and will NOT accommodate an extra week with them lol)
