I need help with my GSXR
I have a 93 gsxr750w. It set for 15 years until I got it. I worked on it and got it running. All new fluids. New petcock. New air filter. Here’s the things I’m working on/needing help with. The battery set in it for god knows how long before I got it. It’s not in bad shape but will really on hold enough charge to start the bike. If it sits it dies. The bike will charge it enough to continue the starting process. The lights on the cluster kinda flicker and the lights will dim when apply the brake or if there a load on the bike. I also checked the carbs and one has a small drip nothing crazy. Other than that they all look really clean. So after putting new parts on it and doing a small drive it seemed fine. The next day I took it out and drove 200+ miles and it was just fine. A small bog but nothing bad. Drove it yesterday to work (about 50mile) trip, was fine. Same night I go to leave start it let it warm up it was idling just fine. Drip still there. Go to take off and it bogs real bad not so bad that I can’t drive it anymore. But it stayed so bad that I could not go above like 30mph and it will not rev above 4k rpm’s or so. When the bike sits the drip stops. So I’m assuming that means my petcock that I just got was not faulty. So is the drip causing it to flood out. Or is the battery being shot causing it loose spark or something with the electrical system??
