I made some comparason to devsisters with their expansions: cookie run: smash cookie run: crumble kingdom and the og oven break to ms. Feilds in the past, but is it really sustainable? According to the Mrs. Fields model no it’s not.

For those of you who don’t know Mrs. Fields was a cookie shop you could find in any mall via kiosk or brick and mortar location but, eventually struggled because it treated its stores like data points in a spreadsheet rather than creative retail spaces like what devsisters is doing as they are being criticized for the insane monetization of their new games like smash with some being over $100 plus the tax (if your country/region charges tax for app purchases) which can result in $300–$641 in progress packs.

Which means they prefer profit vs consumer like ms. Feilds as When the Mrs. Fields model hit a wall, it required massive restructuring, divestments, and debt negotiations to survive. Now devsisters is in that same emergency mode as they haven’t filed for bankruptcy or chapter 4 as it’s known in Korea despite the operating loss of ₩17.4 billion KRW or 11.5 million to $13 million USD in losses despite some games like TOA doing semi well which leads me to the paradox of expansion… let me explain: CookieRun: Kingdom, ovenbreak, ovensmash, tower of adventures, witches tower, braververse, the darkest night, crumbl and the up coming New World
Are clawing at the same audience!

This is what ms. Feilds stores did as they were so close together in malls, airports and shopping centers to the point it wasn’t sustainable hence why ms. Fields collapsed and is now just another prepacked cookie you see in the store. So this is why the devsis ceo hit the panic button and is operating with 0 pay as the collapse will be soon if they don’t cut the IPs not making them enough profit to stay afloat that or they merge with another mega brand like Xbox or Nintendo like what ms.fields did to stay a float with FAT brands formally now Famous Brands International. However time will tell till then we must watch with open eyes and ears.

I thought it was pretty insightful with how Reggie was working for p&g, and how he transitioned from them to Nintendo of America also on how close he, with former president Satoru Iwata of Nintendo’s global market in Kyoto where not as coworkers/boss and subordinate, but as friends.

OK, so timeline of fate and the Arcana of truth and deceit just came out today, but there’s issues with the story parts already when you try to open them they keep crashing when you get to the cut scene or mid story. Is this happening to anybody else or is it just me?
