Yall, Is it over? Nothing has happened and it’s been 2 weeks since the last movement and everyone’s giving up hope and saying it’s pretty much over for the ucs now. Literally out here sobbing so hard cuz ucd is the dream. I feel like i think so much about it to the point where i drive myself mentally insane. Should i just forget about it and stop checking reddit? Maybe itll show up later on. Idk.

Hi. I wanted to tell all wl students to please stop asking/making posts ab when the next waves will be out. Nobody knows. Literally nobody. I know its stressful and anxious for everyone waiting but lets be real, making those posts is out of pure desperation to find an answer that you just wont get. Only ucs gives us clarity and we can only get that by waiting patiently so please lets encourage others instead of making assumptions and speculations based on whats going on. Thank you. We got this!

Hi. Nobody has to care about what im gonna say BUT i gotta let this out. 2 of my friends got into UCD. One is wl to Berkeley and the other is wl to Irvine. Friend 1 is fine w going ucd if she doesnt get off ucb but friend 2 has been shitting on ucd for months talking ab how she hates it and doesn’t wanna go. I got wl to ucd, its been my dream school since i was a sophomore and getting wl felt like i lost something i worked so hard for. Something i regret is helping friend 2 w her essays, i was the only one helping her out and she was helping me out. Not only that but she got in w my major and she had similar ecs and gpa as i did. Its been 2 months since the hating and i assumed shes gonna stop but she hasnt. Any time someone mentions college when shes around w me she will start hating on ucd again. Her most common comment is “It smells like cows”. WELL i wanna see them cows too. 💔IMO, if ur friend got wl to her dream school i think hating on it doesnt make them feel better. Instead, it gives off the vibe as ur bragging u got in even if u dont wanna go. Im like so irritated. Ive told her to stop but she doesnt. it makes me feel worse knowing that a decent am of ppl got off for cognitive s on friday.

Any chance the waitlist might move today? I also saw someone reported that they received an email from davis saying the “class was full”. They didnt clarify what they meant but do they mean the entire class of 2030 or a specific college/major? I really hope all waitlisted students get off! Never lose hope. :)
Hi. I got waitlisted to UCD For cognitive science major. My stats is 3.95 w gpa, 14 ecs and about 4 or 5 aps. From students who got off last year, what date did you receive notice? And am i cooked? Idk if the major is highly competitive or not. I also got waitlisted to UCSB for undeclared.
