Traveling with a 5/6 week old?
My SIL has decided to schedule her wedding 5 and a half weeks after my due date.
Her wedding venue is about a 2.5 hour flight away in a different state from us, and then another 2 hour drive to actually get to the venue.
My husband and I have stated our concerns about traveling with a baby so young and how he will be able to make it still even if the baby and I don’t. She has asked if we are only getting our “information from Google” about traveling with a newborn, since “if you Google your symptoms it will only tell you you have cancer” and she has may friends that have traveled with a newborn.
The wedding is also during the fall, which is flu season, and makes me us all the more hesitant to agree to all 3 of us going.
To preface, we are first time parents, is traveling like that with a newborn as scary as it sounds? Are we overreacting?
