Daily album discussion 1: Swans - Soundtracks For The Blind
To try and spark some more music discussion in this subreddit, I'm going to start posting daily album discussions for people to talk about their thoughts on different albums. I'm going to post these for about a week and if they do spark some sort of discussions I'll continue posting them.
Today's album discussion is about an album I just recently listened to; Soundtracks For The Blind. This project was such an interesting listen. One of the most dark, depressing and creepy albums of the '90's. It also happens to be one of the most acclaimed albums of all time, being considered by many to be Swans' best release and one of the best experiemental records of all time.
In my personal opinion, even though I haven't listened to extremely many albums, this is one of the best I've ever heard. I don't even know where to begin describing how it felt, it was just such an experience.
Anyways, What do you guys think of the album? Like I said I thought it was immaculate but I'd like to hear whatever your guys' opinion was on it.
