Senior Rottweilers issues
Hello everyone! Hope you all fine and your rotties as well.
So my baby girl is soon turning 8 and I’ m a little worried 😅. I did some research and found out that Rottweilers (as some other breeds) tend to have health problems when they get old. She lately started licking her paw almost every night and Im obviously taking her to the vet as soon as I can to check it… anyway I wanted to ask those with experience :
1-what are the most common health issues in rottweilers. I know that some are curable and others sadly not so I would like to avoid what’s irreparable.
2-at what age and how often should I do a full/specific check.
3-and is there any specific specialist i should consult ?
PS: in my country we do not have pet insurance
