West Side Highway OSR Race
It is so incredibly dangerous to be hosting a relay race on the West Side Highway bike lane ever but especially during peak weekend hours. I got on the WSH bike lane at about 72nd @ 5pm and had to dodge their runners / cyclists / film crew (lol) all the way down to FiDi. They were jumping on and off citibikes all while yelling at people that “WE’RE IN A RACE” and other things so everyone else would move out of their way and be put in danger. Thank god you didn't cause a collision and injure someone. Are you really this entitled?
Your unsanctioned “race" is not more important than the safety of those who are using the public bike lane correctly. This is coming from someone who has run OSR races in the past. Please check your entitlement and do better.
**correction..this was the Southbound 400 race but the OSR team who was doing this.
