I am (22F) dating a German American man (40M).

There’s a couple of things at play here.

I notice the way we take in our environments are from completely different lenses. I notice if I’m the only ethnic person in the room, but he has no background of that even crossing his mind. (Which isn’t bad just something I noticed).

I also find myself feeling so off from his typical type of, white woman. He has dated outside of his race, but very rarely.

He also has this quirky personality I’ve been adjusting to!

My dating history has been very diverse with only less than a handful of white men.

I’m curious if any other BIPOC woman had this feeling of adjustment. Maybe I am just feeling a sense of cultural shock?
