So this is a post from today on r/oldpeoplefacebook. If you're not familiar, basically it's to make fun of old people misusing social media, and in the comments everyone participates and "talks like an old person." I loved this sub, until today, when I see users being allowed so use racial slurs.
Should I not feel upset? Am I overreacting? I don't understand why people think this is ok. And then I get downvoted for commenting that it upsets me, especially as an Asian myself, that they are using the racial slur "Chinamen," for jokes, at the expense of Asians. I thought other people would agree and report the comments. Because clearly my reports were ignored by the mods...
