Where to start...
I don't know if this is the place to ask but here goes...
I currently use Wix for my eCommerce platform. I've used it for forever and it's really visual and pretty intuitive, however I think that a Shopify website gives me better options e.g. I want a pick 'n' mix function that Wix don't offer so I can't accurately do this as it complicates stock levels.
I want to start from scratch with Shopify. No themes as I have all my own logos, colours and fonts etc. I've had a quick play about and it made my brain dribble out my ear! 😅 It's no way near as visual as Wix, however, I refuse to be defeated! To start with, I couldn't afford a developer unless I sold my kidney (and I only have one good one left!) and, more to the point, I want to learn so I can get it exactly how I want it and be able to update as and when needed.
Where do I even start? Reading stuff is a no from me. I have raging ADHD and I learnt through copying and doing, so I've put a plea out on my personal Facebook to see if anyone I know would sit with me for a bit, either in person or virtually, while I grasp the basics but if that fails I need to find a course or something that I can faff about under some direction. Unlike Shopify, Wix is free to design until you publish, so I don't want to take too long doing my new website or the cost is going to get ridiculous!
So yeah, any help on where to start would be much appreciated! Thank you 🫶🏻
