A meme I've made.

A meme I've made.

Soviet animation lowkey goes hard, brah.

Creator's note: I've got the idea for this thing from those "movie nerds when your fav movie is x instead of y made in 19xx on a budget of $xx.yy" memes, and also considering that there's no variation of the theme involving animation lmao.

I'll make this quick.

When I was little, I watched a lot of mainstream TV shows and movies—you know, the ones that were really popular at the time. However, there was a strange side to my childhood where I watched the opposite of mainstream: shows and movies that nobody knew about.

As I got older, the non-mainstream animated shows and movies started to consume me and the latter probably turned me into the typical annoying cinephile (which I'm not, haha).

My current obsession, which is related to all of this, is Soviet animation, which is very obscure if we go outside Russia. I'm not Russian, but it fascinates me.

Now it's your turn.
