How severe do these nasal findings look before DJS?
I had a CBCT done before my DJS consult and it showed:
Deviated septum
Septal spur
Bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy
Bilateral concha bullosa
Chronic ethmoid sinusitis
Also think I have nasal valve collapse although that was not tested during the exam.

I attached some CBCT screenshots because I’m curious what people think about how bad it looks.
Main thing I’m wondering though: has anyone here had septoplasty/turbinate reduction/concha bullosa reduction done during the same surgery as double jaw surgery?
The DJS itself would mainly be for skeletal class II/bite and chewing issues, but the CBCT also showed these nasal findings.
How was recovery compared to DJS alone?
Did breathing improve noticeably afterward?
Would you recommend doing both together or separately?
Would appreciate hearing experiences from people who did combined surgery. Or if it is done at all. Thank you.
