My first proper shiny run starting to get a nice team and added blue nidoran he looks so cool and got so lucky with stats 3 star and hidden ability was worth the grind. Also got shiny clefairy randomly just walking through grass without having to hunt was so lucky ha loving the game so far!

Am I doing this right ? I got my dexnav stats up to the 99th encounter then just keep resetting via save state and the growlithe is different every time stats/gender/moves etc but I must have done a thousand resets and still no shiny , I’ve tried without save state and going past 100 encounters until about 180 when ran out of PP still no luck . Any help please thanks
